About GladstoneMD

Clinicians building the experiences we wish already existed.

GladstoneMD was founded by practicing physicians who watched clinic days get swallowed by administration. Our mission is to give every doctor access to transformational technology, not another system to fight.

Who we are

Deep clinical roots, modern engineering.

We are a small, cross-functional team with deep clinical roots and a shared frustration with status-quo health technology. We combine domain expertise with current AI tooling to build specialty-specific, clinic-ready solutions. Because we practice medicine ourselves, we hold our work to the standard we hold our own clinics: precise, dependable, and respectful of the patient relationship.

Our vision

Built for clinicians, not systems.

High-quality care depends on accurate data, good judgment, and human connection. We build for the clinician first, on the conviction that when the provider experience leads, the tool fits naturally into existing workflows instead of demanding new ones.

The Gladstone system reimagines the classic doctor's bag as a dynamic suite of AI agents for documentation, billing, requisitions, and correspondence. Like the bag it replaces, it is personal equipment: it travels with the physician, adapts to the physician, and answers to the physician.

How we work

Four principles guide the work.

Doctor-first design

We start with real clinic interactions and work backwards, building tools that fit naturally into the way you already practice.

Agentic architecture

Gladstone listens, organizes, and moves work forward with the right amount of oversight: enough autonomy to be useful, never so much that you lose control of the result.

Continuous evolution

New toolkits can be added or upgraded without changing how you work, so Gladstone benefits from rapid advances in AI while your workflow stays stable.

Safety and trust

We build to privacy, consent, and regulatory guidance from the outset, so physicians can deploy our tools with confidence. Our commitments are documented on the Trust & Compliance page.

What makes Gladstone different

A personal tool, not enterprise infrastructure.

Much of today's health technology is built for enterprise buyers rather than for doctors. EMRs and hospital systems optimize for compliance and reporting, with less attention paid to the clinician's experience. AI scribes marked a real step forward in documentation efficiency, but they remain single-purpose products that ask users to navigate menus and templates to produce an acceptable note.

We are taking a different path. Rather than another monolithic system or a narrow point solution, Gladstone is a layer that sits alongside the tools you already use and quietly handles the work that does not require a medical degree. It is closer in spirit to your stethoscope or your notebook than to hospital-provided IT: personal equipment for the practice of medicine, under your oversight and control. Modern health systems ask doctors to do far too much that has nothing to do with medicine. We are building the capable delegate you should have had all along.

One consistent interface

A simple, consistent interface with serious capability underneath. Type or speak your request; Gladstone does the rest.

High-agency assistance

A working assistant rather than a note-taking add-on. Gladstone carries tasks through to a draft you can approve.

Personal and adaptive

Gladstone learns from your edits and preferences, so its output sounds like you and fits your practice more closely over time.
